Bob Hope is a legend and his support for our troops is legendary.

This talented performer did it all – acting, dancing, singing and making us laugh. He starred in movies, acted for radio and television, performed on stage and entertained our troops. He toured with the USO so many times that Congress declared him an honorary veteran of the United States Armed Services.

    I remember watching so many of these when I was a kid – then one year, for my birthday my mom bought me tickets to Bob Hope when he came to town. Best night of my young life.

    Bob Hope was a great entertainer who had the gift of making almost anything he said come out funny. His inspiration lives on in all the members of the defense that he touched. He taught the spirit of giving and showed how entertainment can make the heart lighter. He golfed and danced a bit, too.
