Based on a Gothic Vampire Novella
by Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu
Decades before Bram Stoker wrote Dracula, Joseph Sheridan Le Fanu wrote the Gothic vampire novella that has become the movie, Carmilla.
The horror story comes to life in a beautiful way, so you will want to watch intently to pick up on all of the subtle details.
It isn’t rated, but is definitely not for small children. Adults and older teens who enjoy intense suspense will appreciate the vampire tale.
I thoroughly enjoyed the award winning film.
Now, I may need to read the book, too.
