How many times have you seen Home Alone?

I can even count how many times I’ve seen the original movie, but I think that now is a great time to replace my well worn VHS with something that is a bit more up to date.

20th Century Fox has just released the Home Alone Ultimate Collector’s Edition Gift Set that includes all five of the Home Alone movies and some extra goodies to make it even more fun to watch these classics.

The gift set is packaged in a cute paint can with green paint dripping down the sides. The original Home Alone and Home Alone 2: Lost in New York are on DVD, Blu-ray and Digital HD. Home Alone 3, Home Alone: Taking Back the House and Home Alone: The Holiday Heist are on DVD. There are also over two hours of additional special features.

Also included are a holiday ornament with Macauley Culkin’s famous screaming pose, a fake spider, a wanted poster and battle plan.

    The Home Alone films are a definite must have in our house for family viewings! John Williams’ score is so beautiful, and I really miss writer/director John Hughes. He had such an incredible insight into kids and families.

    I loved the first Home Alone movie the best. I liked the part when he put shaving cream on and was lip synching to a Frank Sinatra song (I think it was a Frank song.)

    I remember watching this movie and laughing so much. I liked Home Alone 2 but it was not as funny to me because the same crooks were in it, and went through much of the same things as in the first movie.

    I loved seeing actress Catherine O’Hara in the Home Aone movies. I was such a fan of hers from the tv series “SCTV” and the movie ‘Beetlejuice’! I hope the rumor is true that they’re doing a sequel.

    I have watched Home alone so many times over the years. It has always been my 24 year old sons favorite Christmas tradition to watch. I would sooo love to win this to give my granddaughter for Christmas as it would be awesome to continue her daddys tradition. This movie is so funny and doesn’t get old,.

    Composer John Williams is my all-time favorite. His score and song for the first Home Alone movie was so memorable (and got an Oscar nom) I wasn’t surprised when he got asked back to do Part Two!

    I think a great setting, if Macauley Culkin had been in Home Alone 3, would have been an expansive amusement park. Maybe even a crossover in the John Hughes’ universe by making it Wally World, with a cameo by the Griswolds!
