A Winter Gathering is a magical CD! The music instantly gave me chills and transported me to another world.
Shauna Burns was born in the US and her music has a Celtic feel. It seems as if it’s from a fantasy dream world and not of this earth. The vocals are ethereal and the music is lovely. I especially enjoy the piano solos.
There are 12 songs on the album. Many are old favorites that she has made her own and others are new. Her voice is beautiful, but my favorite track just may be the instrumental version of Carol of the Bells.
This is holiday music, but I know I’ll enjoy it other times of the year as well. It sets a happy mood that can help ease the stress of the day.
