Expo West Favorites

Every March I head to the Anaheim, so I can attend the largest Natural Products industry event and find new Expo West favorites.

This year there were about 80,000 attendees and thousands of brands in the exhibit halls and educational sessions. Yes, it was both overwhelming and wonderful.

It’s exciting to see so many natural brands and innovative products, since the industry has exploded in the last several years. It’s no longer hard to find groceries labeled organic, fair trade, non-gmo, vegan and gluten-free, since we have so many choices.

This slide show is not at all complete, but in it you will see some of my favorites.

Wooden Table Baking Co. Alfajores

Recently, I discovered alfajores, and now am hooked. These Argentinian cookies are delicious and unique.

Crunchies

I enjoy Crunchies freeze dried fruit, so was excited to try out their chocolate dipped freeze dried fruit. It is delicious, and the texture is great. My favorites are the mango with dark chocolate, but I’ll happily eat any of them.

SmartSweets

Low-sugar candy is perfect, when you need a family movie night treat. They have both sweet and sour gummies, so there is something for everyone. Personally, I like the Sweet Fish best.

Clean Well Household Products

Cleaning is not my favorite activity, but these Clean Well botanical products work well and make it a better experience.

gimMe Seaweed Thins

These snacks are light and thin, but bursting with flavor. All I need is a little bit to satisfy my snacking needs.

Dry Zero Sugar Soda

There is no need to give up on taste, when you drink these organic, zero sugar beverages.

Handfulls Crunch Bites

If you’re looking for a snack with a fun twist, you’ll want to try Handfulls. Crunch Bites are almonds with a crunchy coating and Fusions are trail mixes with exotic flavors and interesting combinations.

Essential Oxygen Oral Care

Yes, there are organic oral health options! Essential Oxygen has toothpaste, mouth rinse and tooth polish, so you can get whiter teeth, fresher breath and healthier gums.

I and Love and You Pet Food

My cats are an important part of my family, so taking good care of them is a priority. We recently switched to I and Love and You cat food, and they love it!

Of course, I’m happy to give it to them, since it’s made from high quality, grain free ingredients. They also have a full range of food for dogs.

Mozaics Organic Chips

Chips are always a fun snack, but they’re even more fun when they are Mozaics Veggie and Potato Chips.

Chocolate Covered Coconut Cookie Bites from Emmy’s Organics

Emmy’s has added new chocolate covered cookie bites to their product line, and they are delicious. My favorites are the mint, but the peanut butter are also tasty.

For For Life Sprouted Cereal

I’ve been a fan of Food For Life cereal for years, and just tried their Sprouted Cereal for the first time. It is delicious! My favorite variety is the almond, but the Flax + Chia is a close second.

I love that I can now easily find natural products, when I’m shopping online and at retail stores.

I can quickly check for certifications (Fair Trade, USDA Organic….) and allergen information, so I can make good purchasing decisions.
