Awesome Achievers Book Series
When I was a kid, I know I would have enjoyed the Awesome Achievers book series that encourages kids to explore STEM subjects.
I did enjoy them as a science loving adult, but these books are really made for children in the 8 to 11 year old range.
Each book features individuals who have made big contributions to the sciences, so kids can learn about them and their accomplishments.
Some of them are already household names. Others are lesser known, but still hugely important.
In each chapter, children get to meet a new achiever. There are basic facts and information, but there is also a whole lot of humor added in.
Kids will be entertained from the first page to the last. However, they will also learn quite a bit.
The inspirational books will help children appreciate the work of others and will encourage them to dream about what they will do in their lifetime.
