Cher is truly one of a kind. Her career has spanned decades. Whether she’s acting or singing, her performances are amazing and memorable. I can remember being in awe of her as I watched the Sonny and Cher show and played her records, when I was growing up. She’s a hard worker who does her job well.
I wasn’t at all familiar with Cher’s mother, Georgia Holt, or her family life until seeing this movie. It’s fascinating to learn the inside story and see the loving bond that they share. The Lifetime Presents documentary is executive produced by Cher, so it contains personal information and insights that only she has. It’s a beautiful tribute to a unique, kind and hard working woman who raised a daughter who shares these characteristics!
