This book is adorable!
I thought it sounded like a cute idea to combine cupcakes and some good life lessons. When I found out it was written by a mother and daughter (age 9) team, I liked it even more.
The story is fun and has just the right amount of girl drama. It’s entertaining to read and kids will learn about the importance of friendship and kindness.
The star of the story is in the 4th grade. Younger kids who are ready for chapter books will enjoy reading it on their own. It would also be fun for a mom and daughter to read it out loud together.
The book also includes recipes and tips for creating perfect cupcakes.
