Becoming a vegetarian was easy for me. It wasn’t even a conscious decision, but just happened naturally. One day I realized that I couldn’t remember the last time I had meat. A meat-free diet evolved on it’s own and I haven’t had any trouble sticking to it. This is the right choice for me and as I make other changes in my diet, I wouldn’t be too surprised if I ended up shifting to vegan.
In Vegetarian to Vegan Sarah Taylor gives compelling reasons why you should make the shift and gives tips on how to do it. There is also a great assortment of recipes by Mark Reinfeld. Even if you don’t think you want to go completely vegan, the recipes can be a great way to make little shifts towards a plant based diet without dairy or eggs.
