Be Internet Awesome
The internet is wonderful, but it can also be dangerous. Disney and Google want to help your kids be internet awesome, so they have partnered together with a helpful campaign.
Years ago, parents were told to just keep kids off of the internet. However, that really isn’t an option today. It is part of our daily lives, and can be a very good thing when used appropriately.
When kids learn how to be brave, kind and strong, they can have positive experiences online and offline.
Check out Google’s Internet Safety program, so you can use their tools to prepare your kids to explore the internet. It is for kids, but the tips are appropriate for adults, too. You can use their materials at home with your own kids, but they are also great to use in a classroom or kids’ club.
Ralph Breaks The Internet is great entertainment, but it also shows some of the pitfalls of being online. Therefore, these characters are the perfect ambassadors for this campaign.

Thanks to Disney and Google, for this fantastic program!
