Northern Shade is a poignant drama about an Army veteran, a country that has changed, family love and duty.
This is fiction, but takes inspiration from vet Kyle Berg, who used his expertise to advise on the script, technical aspects of the film and more.
The film touches on very real issues of today, broad issues about polarizing politics and social concerns and personal challenges faced by veterans and others looking for answers and purpose.
There are no easy answers and there are layers of trauma that have led each of the characters in the movie to this point in time.
Northern Shade is good and exciting action packed entertainment, but it is also thought provoking.

Synopsis
Army veteran Justin McLaughlin is forced from isolation when his younger brother Charlie goes missing.
Teaming up with private investigator Frankie, Justin discovers that his brother’s been recruited by an extremist militia run by paramilitary leader Billy.
Justin must decide how much of his past in the Army he’s willing to bring to the surface to prevent Charlie from going through with the militia’s violent plan.
