    I grew up with Mamas Family and the whole family used to get a good kick out of this show. It was such a great comedy in it’s time. I watched reruns until they took them off the channel. It was a great sitcom we looked forward to watching. I’d love to watch them again all these years later.

    I have followed “Mama’s Family” lead actress Vicki Lawrence throughout her entire career. I’m such a fan. She can do anything! She’s an amazing singer. I loved when she hosted her own talk show, as well as the game show, “Win Lose Or Draw”.

    Vicki Lawrence is still playing Mama – last year she brought her act to Biloxi (just down the road from us)! She’s always been quite a talent – in a documentary from the Sixties you can see the audition that got her a spot on the Young Americans singing group – and while doing the Carol Burnett show she won an Emmy AND had a #1 hit record, which is really something!

    My mom, my 24 and 21 year old daughters and myself love to watch Mama! We get such a kick out of Vicki Lawrence. She was great with Carol Burnette.

    I watched Mama’s Family with my Mother when I was a kid. I love the show! If I win,I plan on taking the movies to my Mothers house and watching them with her…….again :)
