With A Mind to Kill: A New James Bond Novel by Anthony Horowitz
There is a new James Bond novel just in time for Summer reading, With a Mind to Kill by prolific author Anthony Horowitz.
Ian Fleming’s original Bond novels and short stories were first published in 1953.
Clearly, he was onto something good!
And this year we are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the first Bond movie, Dr. No.
Fleming wrote 14 Bond books, but he passed away soon after the first two movies were released.
Since then, others have continued the saga with additional books and movies.
No spoiler alert is needed, because I’m not going to give away any of the story of the latest 007 novel.
However, I can say that I loved it.
Whether you have seen every movie and read every book or only some of them, With a Mind to Kill is a fun spy novel.
There is plenty of action along with plot twists and turns that will keep you engaged from start to finish.
The 007 adventures are new, but after getting to know the characters for decades the book feels familiar.
