The animated film is uniquely entertaining, so it feels fresh and fun for kids. It has characters that are cute and, also, a bit creepy! Of course, adults can have fun watching along with the kids.

Odd Sock Eaters comes to us from Pavel Srut, a Czech poet, who wrote bestselling children’s books and poetry with political themes. His creativity is legendary, especially when you consider that much of his writing was done under communist rule.

This movie takes us into a magical world, so we get to see what exists behind the scenes when we aren’t looking. Mischievous OddSockEaters are busy little creatures!

Synopsis

In a whimsical, heartwarming and unique adventure perfect for family viewing, Hugo is a small Oddsockeater venturing out into the big world for the first time.
After moving in with his uncle “Big Boss” and his two nutty cousins, he encounters the Professor, a human determined to proving the existence of Oddsockeaters, as well as The Blades, a crosstown gang of rival sock thieves.
Wild adventures ensue as Hugo learns the ropes of being an Oddsockeater as well as valuable lessons about family, love and the true meaning of loyalty.
