Now on DVD – Twin Flower Movie

feature twin flower movie scene

Fans of coming of age movies will love it, when they watch the award winning Twin Flower movie.

The independent film was made in Italy and has been recognized at film festivals in North America and Europe.

I always find it interesting to see the transformational experiences that people have on their way to adulthood.

The lead characters in Twin Flower have experienced awful things that I can only imagine, but still it was easy to relate to them.

The actors are superb and the story is compelling.

Twin Flower is not rated, but is probably best for older teens and adults. The film is in Italian and has English subtitles.

Synopsis

Sixteen-year-old Anna is on the run, escaping from a violent event so traumatic that she will no longer speak to anyone.

On the road she is rescued by Basim, a teenage orphan and undocumented immigrant from the Ivory Coast, who also has been abused by life.

Together the two adolescents embark on a perilous journey towards a new beginning, traveling through the deserted lands, woods, villages and breathtaking landscapes of Sardinia.
