Disney Inspired Star Wars Art
X-Wing Galaxy Craft
You and your child can have some out of this world fun, when you use my free printable template to make this Star Wars inspired X-Wing galaxy craft.
It’s easy to make the galaxy background with pastels and a flick of white paint.
Then, you can print and cut out an X-Wing space craft and some TIE Fighters to complete the scene.
Kids and adults can make this craft, which can be hung up as is or even put in a frame.
This is a fun craft to do, when you’re at home.
Make it before or after you watch the latest The Rise of Skywalker movie or as part of a family Star Wars saga marathon.
May the force be with you!

Supplies
Free Printable Template
Cardstock (1 Black, 1 dark gray, 1 light gray or white)
Oil Pastels
Newspaper or Butcher Paper to keep your work area clean
Toothbrush
White Paint
Scissors
Glue Stick and/or White Glue
Instructions
1) First, create your galaxy background. Color most of a black sheet of cardstock with a black oil pastel. Then, fill in the other areas with blue, pink and purple oil pastels. Smudge the colors together with your finger.
2) Cover your work area with newspaper or butcher paper, since this next step is messy. Dip an old toothbrush into white paint and flick it onto the galaxy to make stars. Set it aside to dry completely.
3) Download the free printable template and print the TIE Fighters on dark gray and the X-Wing on white or light gray.
4) Use pastels to add accent shading to the X-Wing and the TIE Fighters and then cut them out.
5) Arrange the ships on the galaxy however you’d like and glue them in place. It’s ok to place them, so they hang partly over the edges. After the glue has dried you can trim off any excess.
6) Put your artwork on display.
