Portable Backyard Fire Pit
I enjoy being outdoors year round, but Fall is an amazing time to enjoy a portable backyard wood burning fire pit.
A crisp, cool evening is perfect, when you want to cozy up outdoors by a warm fire.
As an added benefit, there aren’t bugs in my backyard in the Fall like there are in the Summer.
Some people have a built in fire pit, but for most of us a portable pit is a great option.
I prefer a backyard wood burning fire pit, because the aroma is lovely and it has the ambiance of a camping trip with the comforts of home nearby.
The portable pit can easily be moved right where you want it and then stored safely away during the off season.
Make sure you get a spark screen for your fire pit for safety, so embers don’t fly out and start a fire outside of the pit.
If you will be cooking over your fire pit, pick up a cooking grate to make it easy to cook outdoors.
And, to keep your fire pit area looking nice, get a log rack to keep your wood handy and tidy.
I hope you enjoy your fire pit on cool autumn evenings just like we do!
