New Daniel Tiger DVD

There is a brand new Daniel Tiger DVD, so you’ll want to add it to your collection. Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood is just perfect for preschool age children.

I loved watching Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, when I was a child. He felt like a special friend, so it was wonderful to invite him into my home and onto my TV screen. He addressed big and small issues in a calm, age appropriate way.

In 2012, Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood premiered, and kids have been delighted by the spinoff ever since. The show is based on Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood of Make-Believe, so has a familiar feel to it. They didn’t try to recreate the original show, but are retaining the magic of it in an animated format.

The Won’t You Be Our Neighbor DVD has five sweet episodes. Each one is relevant and easy for littles to relate to, so they’ll want to watch them many, many times.

Synopsis

In the first episode, Won’t You Be Our Neighbor?, Daniel is excited to meet the family moving into the Neighborhood of Make-Believe!
Daniel lends a hand by making his new neighbor and playmate, Jodi Platypus, feel right at home. In Jodi’s First Day at School, Teacher Harriet lets Jodi find someone she knows in class and hopes it will make her less nervous on her first day.
Jodi finds Daniel and he becomes “First Day Friend” to help his new friend adjust.

    I remember watching Mr. Roger’s Neighborhood when I was in elementary school. He had Daniel Tiger as a skit on his show. Yes it’s been that long ago, lol

    Our grandhildren love the Daniel Tiger series. It is both fun and educational. Children learn to be more empathetic.

    Anything to do with Mister Roger’s Neighborhood is good for kids and families. Daniel Tiger is one of the puppets who came to life in this DVD and shows his neighborhood and the virtues of kindness and caring; My grandsons would enjoy watching this quality DVD.
