My education here in the US was, of course, taught from an American perspective.
This is a Portuguese film, so it’s also from the side of the Allied Forces.
But it adds an extra personal dimension to the story, since the fighting was in Europe and thus closer to home for this soldier.
He is a brave hero who did what he had to do save lives and protect his homeland from the enemy.

Synopsis
