⏰ Practical Science & Sibling Love: My Review of Sisters All the Time

Explaining abstract concepts like seconds, minutes, hours, and the passage of time to young children can be notoriously tricky!

Kids experience time through their daily routines by waiting for a turn, playing at the park, or counting down to bedtime.

That is why Sisters All the Time by author and illustrator Angela Quezada Padron is such a brilliant find!

Published by Charlesbridge as part of their acclaimed STEAMworks series, this charming hardcover picture book makes time and temporal measurement easy for young minds to grasp.

🔬 Everyday Science Facts Grounded in Real Life

Relatable Real-Life Connections: Instead of abstract mathematical definitions, time concepts are tied directly to familiar activities and sibling dynamics that children experience every day.
Engaging Science & STEM Facts: Packed with accessible science facts that explain how we measure time, how time feels different depending on what we are doing, and how clocks work.
Charming Artwork: Beautifully illustrated scenes keep children engaged while visually reinforcing the educational lessons on every page.

The publisher recommends this book for ages 4 to 7, which is a spot-on target age range for kids starting kindergarten and early elementary school.

However, it also offers fantastic benefits for older readers:
