    I’ve bought some of the National Geographic books for kids and the photographs are beautiful. They do a good job of not overwhelming early readers with too much text. I wouldn’t have thought of the history of music for a children’s book. Also, the book is hardback, according to your post. I’ve only seen the kid’s books of theirs in paperback.

    National Geographic books are the *best*

    My youngest girl loves animals & dinos, and my oldest loves music, so these would be great additions to our shelf. My girls have always loved books. Since Nana (the hub’s mom) is an English professor & published author, we were reading to the girls at a very young age. From the beginning they loved the colorful pictures & snuggling in & listening to a story. My oldest had a speech delay so we were worried that she would be always be behind her classmates. Now she is in Kindergarten & reading level C books! My heart is happy, & I’d love to share these books with them. Hoping to win, of course, but adding these to my Amazon wish list just in case :)
