Easter Colors
Easter is a time for celebration and new beginnings.
It is a time to reflect on the past year and look forward to the year ahead.
The colors associated with Easter reflect this sentiment.
Pastel pink, blue, and yellow are all popular Easter colors.
Pink is often associated with love and femininity, while blue is associated with peace and tranquility.
Yellow is the color of the sun, and it represents happiness and optimism.
Together, these colors create a cheerful and festive atmosphere that is perfect for Easter.
I used pastel pink, blue, and yellow for my headband craft.
I think it turned out great!
The colors are very spring-like and they really make the hair accessory pop.
Headbands for Crafting
A regular plastic headband is a great option for making an Easter pom pom headband.
You won’t be covering the entire headband, so you’ll want to choose a color that will complement the spring-colored pom poms.
I used a pink headband, which looks great with the pom poms.
White or another color can also be pretty, so feel free to use a different color headband if you have one on hand or prefer it.
If you’re making headbands as a group activity, you can buy headbands in bulk that are made for crafting.
These are fine for a craft activity with kids.
However, I like using a regular headband from the hair accessories section.
You can still find multipacks of these, but the quality is often better.
Pom Poms
Pom poms are easy to use, regardless of skill level, making this craft perfect for small children, mom’s craft night, or anything in between.
For the Easter headband craft, I used pastel pom poms in pink, blue, and yellow.
Be creative and come up with your own design or make your headband like mine.
The 1/2-inch size pom poms are a good fit for the headband, but you can use larger pom poms if you prefer.
Before gluing the pom poms to the headband, arrange them in order to get an idea of how many you need and how you want to organize the colors.
Glue
You can use either regular white school glue or a tacky craft glue for this craft.
School glue is a good option if you are working with kids, as it is inexpensive and easy to clean up.
However, it may not be as strong as tacky glue.
Tacky glue is a good option if you are looking for a more durable bond, but it can be more difficult to clean up if you make a mess.
Either type of glue is fine for the Easter headband, so use what is best for you.
