X Unheard Music Documentary
The X Unheard Music documentary is a fun step back in time.
X’s raw sound and style were very different than the typical pop of the late 70’s and 80’s.
Amazingly enough, X is still around today.
I just heard an interview with John Doe on the radio over the weekend.
The Unheard Music captures the feel, look and sound of the band and the music scene.
It’s a good mix of live music, interviews and news reports that help put it all into perspective.
X has had a huge impact on the music industry with their groundbreaking style and bold attitudes.
The DVD will be enjoyed by those of us who remember X from back in the day and by younger fans.

Synopsis
The documentary takes long, detailed, and often funny look at the LA music scene of the late 70s and 80s and focuses on the group that critics had singled out as the leader of the underground pack.
The Unheard Music is a documentary that combines live footage of the band and interviews with the four members (as well as their friends and families) with surreal music videos and montages of newsreel footage and vintage television commercials which help to illustrate X’s uphill struggle against the music industry.
