Ambushed, a classic South African adventure film, has been digitally remastered and is now available for home viewing.
Gravel Road Entertainment now has the rights to this film and many others from the 1970’s and 80’s, so they have been busy restoring them.
The movies are all a part of their Retro Afrika collection.
The sound and images are improved with the restoration, but the international adventure still retains its original vintage feel.
Ambushed is in it’s original Zulu language and has English subtitles.

Synopsis
With the odds stacked against them, a game ranger and his assistant launch a desperate attack against a gang of army-deserting poachers.
They attempt to rescue the ranger’s wife and son, who have been kidnapped and stashed in a hideout.
