Movie Based on A True Story
A Journal for Jordan is coming to theaters beginning Christmas day, so you will want to plan to watch this story about love and the human cost of war.
Many soldiers leave behind loved ones including small children, when they head off to war.
First Sergeant Charles Monroe King found a way to connect with his infant son while he was serving his country by writing a journal.
The infant was too young to remember his father and too young to understand the words his father wrote at the time.
However, the journal proved to be an important and lasting gift as he was killed by a roadside bomb in Iraq.
This film is wonderful reminder to cherish our families and work for peace.
